When you click an affiliate link on this site and buy the product, we earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The commission is paid by the retailer, not by you. The price is the same whether you click through us or go directly to the retailer.

As an Amazon Associate, SleepyHero earns from qualifying purchases. Three retailers pay us today: Amazon, Layla and Promeed (table below). A buy button that goes to any other retailer earns us nothing.

We are not paid to write favourable reviews. No brand pays for a review, a score or a place in a list. A product that pays us nothing can score higher than one that pays us.

Three structural protections:

1. The same yardstick for every product.Each product gets an editor's score out of 10. Almost every product page also breaks the score down on a few points, and in nearly every category those points are the same for every product (for pillows: support, cooling, durability, adjustability and value). What a retailer pays us is not one of them.
2. Editor credit. Every review carries a credit for the credentialed editor (Logan Foley CSSC for adult sleep, Marie Hansen PSC for pediatric). No page has completed reviewer sign-off yet. Editors are not paid by affiliate relationships.
3. What the verdicts rest on.Every review is a synthesis of published specifications, published research and what owners report. We have not run a testing program, and we never claim to have tested a product. We do not take a brand's marketing claims as evidence.

Rates are set by each retailer and can change. Some run promotional periods with different rates.

Amazon prices on this site come from Amazon's own product data service for Associates. We do not copy them from Amazon's pages. They are refreshed twice a day, and every Amazon price is shown with the date and time (in UTC) at which Amazon gave it to us. A price more than 24 hours old is not shown at all: the page says “Check price” instead until the next refresh. Prices from other retailers are checked by hand and show the date of that check.
