Neither is silent, and the brands do not publish like-for-like figures. BedJet lists 38-39 dB on typical low and medium settings and 42 dB at 100% cool, measured at the pillow. Sleepme publishes no decibel figure for the Chilipad 1.0 (formerly Dock Pro) and rates its noise as Moderate Fan; the newer Chilipad 2.0 is the model Sleepme calls Whisper Quiet.
Light sleepers should expect some background sound from either system.
Chilipad: 55-115°F range with 0.5°F precision. BedJet: 66-104°F listed range, which BedJet says you set by the degree. Both let you dial in a specific temperature such as 68°F; Chilipad's edge is the finer half-degree step.
Both warm as well as cool. On listed range Chilipad goes further both ways: up to 115°F against BedJet's 104°F. BedJet's difference is how it warms: it blows heated air under the sheets instead of circulating warm water through a pad.
Chilipad is water-cooled. Precise and more efficient, though Sleepme rates its noise as Moderate Fan. Downside: water top-ups every few weeks (Sleepme's figure), potential leaks (rare but real).

Both are one-time purchases with no subscription, which is the structural advantage over the Eight Sleep Pod — its Autopilot plan runs $199/yr on top of the hardware, and the Pod 4 has itself been superseded; Eight Sleep now sells the Pod 6.

Yes, both warm. BedJet lists 66-104°F and warms by blowing heated air under the sheets. Chilipad lists 55-115°F and warms through its water pad, so on listed range it reaches the higher setting. The choice comes down to air or water, not whether one can warm.
Sleepme says every few weeks: a little water vapour escapes through the tubing, faster when the water runs warm, and the room's temperature and humidity change the pace. Tank sits next to bed. BedJet has no water — plug in and go.

The Pod 4 is four-figure hardware plus a $199/yr Autopilot subscription that Eight Sleep requires for the first 12 months — and we can't quote a current Pod 4 price, because Eight Sleep's shop now lists the Pod 6 instead and the Pod 4 is two generations behind. Eight Sleep does more (biometrics, sleep tracking, dual-zone Autopilot); BedJet just handles temperature. Very different products, and only one of them has a price you can check on the brand's own site today.
