Why arms up instead of down?
It's the position babies assume in the womb and in natural sleep — hands accessible for sucking/self-soothing while the stretch fabric still damps the startle reflex. Roughly a third of babies who fight classic swaddles settle immediately in it.
Does it delay the rolling transition?
No — same rule as every swaddle: stop at first rolling signs. The Transition Bag version zips the wings off one at a time, which makes this the smoothest exit ramp in the category.
Why does sizing matter so much?
