Howard Leight MAX-Lite is what happens when an industrial-safety brand engineers foam for comfort. It blocks a high 30dB, but the trick is 'low-pressure' foam: it expands to seal firmly without the tight, pulsing squeeze that makes many maximum-NRR plugs uncomfortable after an hour. A contoured, tapered shape seats easily even in smaller canals, and Howard Leight's industrial pedigree means consistent quality across the (large) bulk box. It's still disposable foam with a full-canal feel, and 200 pairs is far more than most sleepers need — but if you want serious blocking without the pressure headache, this is the one.
