If medium-firm with a deep plush top is what you want, it's a well-aimed product — the file targets back sleepers, side sleepers and combo sleepers up to about 250 lb.

Read the win as "DreamCloud is the better of the two for couples," not "DreamCloud is a motion-isolation specialist." We used to report Saatva at 15 years from a spec table that contradicted its own marketing — that's resolved, and the resolution removes DreamCloud's only advantage on this row.

Both windows comfortably cover the years when a mattress that's going to fail will sag — roughly years 8 through 12.
