SNOOZ vs Dohm — is it worth double?
Both are real fans. The Dohm gives two speeds and a twistable acoustic collar for ~$45; SNOOZ adds continuous tone control, 10 volumes, scheduling, and nursery calibration. Pay the difference only if you'll use the app or care about fine tone.
Is it safe for a nursery?
At max it reaches 87 dBA — far above the <60 dB guidance pediatric sources cite for infant rooms. The app's nursery calibration mode exists precisely for this: use it, and place the machine away from the crib.
Does it have a timer or battery?
Neither on the device. Scheduling and fade-out live in the Bluetooth app, and it's mains-only — real fans draw too much power for practical battery use. For travel, look at the Yogasleep Rohm instead.
