Is it as good as a separate mask + headband?
Not quite either — a Manta blocks light better and a MUSICOZY band fits more precisely. But getting most of both functions in one item is a strong travel trade.
Does it block light completely?
The 3D cups block very well for most face shapes — better than flat masks. A deep nose bridge gap can leak a little; the strap adjusts to compensate.
How do you wash it?
Remove the speaker module, then hand-wash the mask. Machine washing risks the wiring channel — this is the format's main annoyance.
Can side sleepers use it?
Yes with caveats: the eye cups keep pressure off your eyes, but the mask's edge sits between cheek and pillow. Most adjust; committed side sleepers may prefer buds plus a separate mask.
